Inspiration, Truly Amazing.

Hi Everyone!

I’m Alyssa (the other Alyssa that was mentioned by Alyssa in her post, which might I add was spectacular! I know SO confusing!) To make it not so confusing i’ll go by Alyssa Anne.

I have been an member of SoGoPro for a long while now, 32 weeks to be exact, but I just started to explore and try to get involved, let’s just say i’m kicking myself for waiting this long because SoGoPro and the people involved are truly remarkable. The people you meet and the things that go on are both intriguing and unique. I have met so many accepting people that enjoy many of the same things I do, things that I can't share with my friends. You may ask "how has SoGoPro inspired you?" and my answer to that may be a blunt one: It has inspired me in many incredible ways. I have been inspired to get involved in my community, to join and attend things that I would have otherwise not even acknowledged, such as going to an upcoming film festival in my little town. It has inspired me to really look at myself and accept myself for who I am, to chase my dreams (as cliche as that may sound). I have always aspired to go into photography as a side project, I love how a picture completely captures the silence and beauty of an object or person; SoGoPro has given me that confidence to do what I want to do in life. It has also made me take a second look when talking about choosing a career. I thought I wanted to go into something with a business degree, but how boring is that compared to the production industry or something close to it? The answer is VERY boring. I had not but a clue as to what goes on in production and in the arts, but SoGoPro has opened my eyes to a new area, that would not only be exciting and interesting, but also challenging. I just wanted to say thank you to SoGoPro for broadening my perspective of the arts and the production industry and opening my eyes to a whole different world, one that a month ago, I wouldn't even have considered. SoGoPro has truly impacted my life in so many ways, and i’m dearly grateful. Thank you, so very much.
