Ode to some people

Well I haven't been on here for quite some time, life and its necessities have caught up with me. I am delighted to have 10 free minutes to post a few lines on here. My theme of the day is 'luck' perhaps of the Irish or perhaps just a lucky star keeping an eye on me. SGP has given me far more than the artwork the vlogs and the sense of belonging - it has given me friends, and I don't use the word lightly. I remembered yesterday what it really mean't to be someones friend. There are people I would never have been able to 'meet' had it not been for this wonderful metaverse we all live in.

I have a very special connection to two SGP steetteam members. The first, she is strong and has faced so many difficulties this last year, but you won't have realised it. What utterly flabbergasts me is her capacity to throw all her efforts into her friends and family, and even people like me. She will never know how many times she has picked me up when I have stumbled. RSA deserves every ounce of admiration and respect I have for her.

Another is the person who is just starting out in life she is young - her life is before her, she has talents abundant, her English is faultless, her heart huge and her optimism astounding. The glass is NEVER half empty when it comes to H and I am sure she is nurturing her future as carefully as she estimes her friends.

While I am on a roll, Congratulations to Alina for her Streetteam award for February, I remember seeing her first comments/photos/artwork etc and thinking that she was someone special. It is funny, isn't it, how so many of us who don't know each other have become closer over cyber space.... I admire her talent, and I think she will go far.
