Wilmington, North Carolina Appreiciation Weekend!

Today and tomorrow is Wilmington Appreciation Weekend! We all love SoGoPro- and without ILM SGP definitely wouldn't be as amazing as it is. Duh! So why not make a weekend to let loyal Street Team members rant and rave about SGP's home?

Tell us why you want to go there someday- Or where you have gone when you went!

Im going to post a quick memory of mine- I went to Wilimington, NC this past summer. We were staying in Rodanthe, NC on the Outer Banks- and even though it was a 5 hour drive each way a few friends and took the day trip anyways. We left at 5am and got there around noon. I spent the first half of the day touring the OTH locations. (Tric, Lucas's House, Peyton's, Brooke's- C/B etc) and loved it! I was then able to hang around Downtown Wilimington and enjoy the River Walk... It was beautiful. Being in that city was like literally stepping into a movie, feeling the creative energy and seeing all of the pride in people made me feel warm and whole.
Eventually we went to Java Port City? I think that's the name? We don't have those in Lowell, Ma) We met a few fellow SGP Street Team Members! Kim, Becca, Jaclyne, Andrea, Megan Mary, LaurenMichelle, Dani, Liz- I don't think I'm forgetting anyone but if I am, sorry!

It was incredible to see this SGP community unite from all over the place, in Wilmington! I was so quiet in their company, but so amazed and thrilled to be a part of a company that has had so much impact on so many people. After dinner, we all went to The Whiskey and saw the amazing BIBIS ELLISON. Now she was absolutely outstanding, and I reccommend seeing her sometime in your life because, my gosh is she worth it!

I was so taken by the beauty of the South! Granted, trees are everywhere- but they truly stood out to me. In Massachusetts, there are trees, but our highways don't look like this:

I wish I had more of Downtown to share, I'll try to get this camera working again so you can see the Bibis shots I got :)
But for now, this shall kick off I Love Wilmington Weekend :)
