Hey guys...

Ok, so when I was invited to become a co-author of this blog, I must say, I was nervous. Honestly, the world of SoGoPro is so full of talented writers and artists, I didn't believe I was worthy to be on the blog. Then I realised something. It's that you don't need to be the next Steinbeck or John Lennon to feel a part of the SGP family, just that you share a love for southern gothic excellence. I think the reason why I love SGP so much is that it's an outlet. Whether you're an OTH fan seeking a Hilarie fix, or simply an appreciater of fine literature, music and film, you can find something that speaks to you in innovative and meaningful ways. You can speak your mind and find solace in the witty blogs and hilarious vlogs. After reading a recent post by Hilarie, I finally understood her move from OTH to SGP. Her beautiful river analogy really showed me her mindset behind the move, and I wish her all the best on her journey "down the river". Therefore here is my tribute to her incredible time as Peyton on One Tree Hill (a quick sketch i drew once when watching some vintage oth).

Now i'm not going to be posting daily, I think i'll keep it to weekly posts of my thoughts.
Much love
Izzie

...what does it say on your wristband?

Hello there everyone :)

In light of something that happened at work today, I felt that it was right for me to post, as well as be my first post on this wonderful blog.

For those who know me, feel free to throwback to the nickname days :P For those who don't know me, haha, I'm Amber and I moderate an unofficial youtube site for SGP and have been part of all this awesomeness that is SGP since day one. Call me whatever you like...crash, yt girl, FA, Smallville, AR, Amber Rae, SoCal, etc :) You all are my muse.

Ok so a few weeks ago, I bought wristbands from the site. Of course, I spread them around since they came in packs of five, and let their owners know what exactly they were going to be putting on their wrists.

So today, I was at work, and one of my co-workers decided to ask me "What exactly does your wristband say?" And let me tell you, it was like the clouds parting. :) And I honestly don't mean that in an exaggeration. I haven't had the best of weeks lately, but this one question completely brightened my day...and it was all because I got to share exactly what SoGoPro is and all that comes with it. My co-worker was very impressed and awed at the same time that she then told one of my supervisors. So I'm just hoping that the it spreads by word of mouth :)

Wasn't that long of a story, but I just wanted to share. Kendall, you're awesome in creating this. Thank you for letting me be part of it. And to those who have already posted, and/or will be posting soon...keep rockin'
