Can you beileve it SoGoPro...

Can you believe that Southern Gothic Productions is about to hit there one year mark of being an offical Production Company? I know I can't. It was only 11 1/2 months ago that Hilarie, Nick, & Kelly decided to post there very first blog here on blogger.com to announce there company. They never knew how big it would really get, they just wanted to see if anyone cared or would pay attention to it. Well guess what folks, we did. Since the very beginning of this entire process, SoGoPro has touched lives, encouraged dreams, and has become a gigantic family. Well since its not offically the one year mark yet, I think we should all take the time to create something to announce how grateful we all our to have SoGoPro in our lives and in our hearts. Now, what I mean by this is... do something creative, make a drawing of Nick, Hilarie, Kelly, produce a "Thank You" video, write a poem, make a banner and take a picture of yourself holding it up. write us and tell us what your favorite sogopro moment was... whatever your heart desires. Just one rule in doing this little project, make it SoGoPro related!!

In honor of SoGoPro

the very first vlog EVERRRR!!!!!

We LOVE YOU SOGOPRO!!!!!

The kindness of SPG. You either lead by example or you don't

Hey all,
I know that I haven't been around much to post my weekly entry but the reason behind my disappearing act falls along the lines of "Homework overload, and finales up to my neck!" But today I decided to check in and leave a quick post just to keep my fellow crew memebers up to pare with EVERYTHING SGP!

Well yesterday while I was trying my very hardest to finish my Anthro presentation I decided I would take a quick break and check into SOGOPRO (Which I have't done in days, maybe even weeks.)Anyways, I discovered that Hilarie had post another one of her oh so amazing blog entries so I decide to check it out. While I was reading her entry she started talking about how Everyone at SGP is nice and "You either lead by example or you don't. None of us are perfect. We all have our weak spots. We're all strange or different or lonely or searching in a way. And thats what makes us a unit.......a bunch of misfit strangers, brought together by this safety zone of creative tolerance." HILARIE WE TOTALLY AGREE!

SGP is a place for misfits. BIG MISFITS. Like myself. I'm an artist and I don't exactly fit in with my peers and or ANYTHING else that surrounds my total exsistance and SGP makes me feel that although this factor maybe true, its okay to be differen't!

SGP is for People who want to find the best possible version of thereselves. I truely and deeply beileve that SGP is a "Safty Zone" so to speak. Its a place where we can be free from reality for a little while or maybe it helps us connect with reality. It's kind of like Linus in Charlie Brown. He doesn't fit in at all and he uses his security blanket to help him deal with the challenges of everyday life. That's what SGP reminds me of. Sometimes we have to let go of that security blanket and just live the best way you know how. It maybe terrifying at first but when you finally do it just shows how brave you really are. At the end of the day just be yourself, be kind to others, and try to lead by example. Even though, people may make fun of you because of the way you are, deep down they maybe just like you a "MISFIT."

Something so inspiring it can't even touch anything else. Not even a little.

From the moment they first launched their blog back in january on Blogger.com
the company known a "Southern Gothic Productions" has hit a massive freenzy with
people of all ages. This company was created by former One tree Hill star,
Hilarie Burton, One tree Hill Producer Kelly Tenney and Writer Nick Grey. Sogopro is based in Wilmington, North Carolina and their network is growing every minute.

This company has inspired and touched so many lives and has created a family all
its own. On flickr.comyou can find the Sogopro street team which is created by a group of extremely supportive people. It has become somewhat of a personal religion to visit their offical site
known as sogopro.comon a day to day basis. From their blogs to their vlog and the sogopro podcast hosted by 'Denise Gideon'(now on their 14th instalment). This podcast gives you an inside look of what goes on when building a production company.
A month or two ago they launched their very first webisode called "Friendship Union Community theater or F.U.C.T. to the world.
They are currently working on the second episode of F.U.C.T.
Sogopro has given a perfect example of good hearted people and shows some good ol Southern Hospitality. Sogopro is also selling t-shirts signed by Hilarie
herself, a new release of sogopro zip-up hoodies, and sogopro wristbands. This profit
will go towards their future film called Pedestrian starring one tree hill's very own Austin Nichaols who plays Julian on the show. It will also go to other future projects as well.

If you love film, if you love the south, if you love storytelling then come on down to sogopro.com and be a supporter.
